On 24 September Zhang Yihe finished the desktop version and its testing, and Fast-Https for Windows was released. From that day on users no longer needed a Go toolchain or command-line arguments — download, install, click a few times in the tray and an HTTPS-capable server is running.

For a project only two months old it was a complete loop: requirements, technology selection, development, testing, packaging and release, every step actually walked through. Every later release has followed roughly the same process.
